Born in Rome, Roberto Perini is a painter, satirist and set designer. Among the founders of Evil, he drew for magazines and newspapers such as Frigidaire, l'Unità, La Repubblica, L'Espresso and Alterlinus. He also worked as a set designer for Federico Fellini's Roma and Carmelo Bene's Salomè. In 1986 with Roland Topor and Pablo Echaurren he founded the Frou-Frou movement.
