A contact sheet with 30 black and white images of Madonna Louise Ciccone (1958-) posing next to a ballet barre, taken by photographer Cecil Taylor in 1977 at the Art Worlds Institute of Creative Arts in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the 18-year-old Madonna was a student. In some of the images, Madonna is partially nude – this is the earliest known photographic series of Madonna to include nude images of the singer. The 2nd top image in the left-hand column has been selected (presumably by Madonna herself) with a blue pen.
