POA

Lucio Venna, born Giuseppe Landsmann in 1897 in Florence, was a painter and poster designer who joined the Futurist movement towards the end of the First World War. By the early 1920s, he abandoned painting and began to focus exclusively on posters designed in his characteristic style with evident futurist geometries, work amongst the most important in the Italian movement.

Venna’s work has been offered at auction multiple times, the record price being 27,924 USD for Automobile in Corsa sold at Gonnelli in 2022.
