Jim Dine is an American artist and poet known for his contributions to the formation of both Performance Art and Pop Art. Dine’s work is held in numerous public collections including the British Museum, the Smithsonian, the Centre Georges Pompidou Paris, the Hirschhorn, the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York; the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Smithsonian, the Guggenheim and the Tate in London.
